The PanAfrican Capital Foundation (PAC Foundation), the corporate social responsibility arm of PanAfrican Capital Holdings, has trained 36 young entrepreneurs through the second edition of its Raising Young Entrepreneurs (RYE) Boot Camp in Lagos
The two-day programme, held on August 28 and 29, 2026, at the CitiHeight Hotel Conference Hall, brought together aspiring and early-stage entrepreneurs from different sectors for practical training aimed at helping them build and sustain
Executive Secretary of PAC Foundation, Omolola Ojo, said the boot camp combined masterclasses, practical workshops, fireside conversations and networking sessions led by experienced entrepreneurs and industry professionals
She said participants received practical guidance on developing an entrepreneurial mindset, identifying business opportunities, managing business finance, pricing and costing, branding and marketing, legal and regulatory requirements, as well as pitching and investor readiness
Ojo said the programme was designed to equip young entrepreneurs with the knowledge, skills and networks required to navigate the challenges of running businesses in today’s competitive environment
A key feature of the boot camp was the participation of TGI Group, which served as the sponsoring partner for the 2026 cohort. Representatives of the business group attended the programme and engaged directly with participants, sharing insights from its business experience
Ojo said the partnership demonstrated a shared commitment by PAC Foundation and TGI Group to youth empowerment, entrepreneurship development and sustainable economic growth
She added that private-sector partnerships of this nature were important to creating opportunities for young Nigerians to develop business ideas, strengthen their enterprises and contribute to economic activity
The boot camp also provided participants with opportunities to interact with entrepreneurs and professionals, exchange ideas and build connections that could lead to future collaborations
According to Ojo, the Raising Young Entrepreneurs initiative will continue to support young Nigerians in turning innovative ideas into sustainable ventures as part of PAC Foundation’s broader efforts to promote economic empowerment, innovation and entrepreneurship development
The foundation said the programme would contribute to developing a new generation of resilient business leaders capable of creating businesses and employment opportunities in Nigeria
