The Nigerian PR firm Chain Reactions Africa was awarded the Global SABRE for its “From Promises To Proofs” campaign, promoting economic reform, and later debuted the project at the PRovoke Global Summit in Chicago, marking a first for an African consultancy at the event

Chain Reactions Africa has achieved a historic milestone for Nigeria’s independent public relations sector by securing a Global SABRE Award for its campaign titled ” From Promises To Proofs,” which promotes the country’s economic reform agenda under the sitting President

The award, presented on 26 October 2026, was followed by a showcase of the campaign at the PRovoke Global Summit in Chicago, where the winning work was highlighted among the Top 40 programmes submitted from more than 5,500 entries worldwide. This dual accomplishment marks the first occasion a Nigerian independent PR consultancy has both earned a Global SABRE accolade and presented its strategy to an international audience, effectively positioning Nigerian‑developed strategic communications on a global stage.

Campaign Focuses On Government Delivery

The award ceremony on the evening of the Global SABRE Awards saw Chain Reactions Africa’s creative and strategic team, led by Founder and Chief Strategist Israel Opayemi, share the film that illustrates how the campaign moves public discourse beyond generic promises to create visible, tangible evidence of governmental delivery. The message acknowledges a worldwide escalation of public grievance and stresses the imperative that governments stay attuned to citizens’ lived experiences

Opayemi emphasized that the recognition would allow the consultancy to contribute an African perspective to global debates about public trust, accountability and the role of communications in translating policy into action. At the summit, the campaign was presented to a distinguished assembly of global communication leaders, including Richard Edelman of Edelman, Paul Holmes of PRovoke Media, Craig Buchholz of Burson, Kristin Cahill of GCI Health, Brian Lott of Mubadala Investment Company, and Frank X. Shaw of Microsoft, among others.

Chain Reactions Africa’s partnership with the presidential media and communications team-comprising Ministers of Information and National Orientation, Mineral Affairs, and the President’s Strategy Adviser-underscored a collaborative effort that brought the initiative to fruition. Beyond the Global SABRE award, the campaign also dominated regional recognitions, earning first place in the Public Sector/Government category at the 2026 Africa SABRE Awards, reaching the finals for the Platinum SABRE Award for Best in Show, ranking third overall in Earned First’s Africa Consultancy Performance Index, and securing the Large Consultancy category.

Accolades Validate Consultancy Standing

These accolades collectively validate the consultancy’s standing as a leading force in the industry, while extending the reach of Nigerian‑originated communications strategies to a worldwide forum

“From Promises To Proofs” has now served a dual purpose: it validates the efficacy of Nigeria’s economic reform narrative and provides a case study of how culturally grounded communication can bridge the gap between policy and public perception. By taking the campaign from an awards trophy to a global showcase, Chain Reactions Africa asserts that African storytelling and analytical rigor can stand alongside the best in global communications, inspiring a conversation on how governments worldwide can build trust through grounded, evidence‑based outreach.
